Action Option

Mixed Graphic - Phone (Green Square) dialog. Make selection above.

  • - Action - Select this to see the dialog which links an action the device phone. The link is created by either selecting the
    • Application as a category, then selecting the device's phone application or
    • Launcher options, then selection “Launch phone”
  • - Options - Select this to see the dialogs for modifying many components of this mixed graphic such as text content, color, font & size, background, format and more.

Other observations on this image are

  • The bolder white border of green square indicates the object is selected. In this case the elements “phone”, “0”, image and green background are grouped and the outer boundaries of the group.
  • If the group is ungrouped (tapping the group icon the elements revert to being their own individual objects. The background would revert to default (transparent), image to default, phone to just “text” but the notification count would remain in the text format of notification count (%d).
    • If these elements were re-grouped by
      • tapping the selection icon, dragging mouse/finger left-to-right to highlight all of the objects (conversely dragging mouse/finger right-to-left to highlight at least partially all of the objects)
      • then tapping the group icon would regroup them.
      • As mention above, the user would then have to re-define the background and text characteristics
  • The “359” represents the height and width of the square in pixels
  • The “361” represents the distance from the left side of the screen in pixels. This is also known as the x-axis. Unfortunately, the object's placement towards the top of the screen block the figure for the distance from the top of the screen. That is also called the y-axis.
