Dynamic Image - Add Image

Dynamic images are images which automatically change depending upon the state. An easy example is a clock showing the current time or calendar icon showing the current date, day, or month (or all 3). Total Launcher has built-in dynamic images as shown and discussed below, but new ones can be created app icons, page background, object background or for other design uses. See a visual demo of creating and modifying a clock as a dynamic image.

Any Launcher Action can be attached the the dynamic image by using the Object Action (tap, up/down, swipe).

The categories are:  

Battery status

  • shows the device's current battery level status on a 180° dial and indicates in the battery is charging with “bolt” symbol

Bluetooth

  • shows the state of the device's bluetooth as an on or off image

Brightness Mode

  • shows the state of the screen brightness as an image indicating automatic or manual control by the device's system

Calendar

  • shows the current day, month, and date as an icon (not a text)

CPU

  • shows the current device CPU usage as a %, refreshed every second

  • shows the state of do not disturb as an on or off image

Gmails (Unread)

  • show the count of currently unread Gmails as a number within a circle

This notification has been deprecated, apparently by Google, and has not been removed from Total Launcher

GPS

  • shows the state of the device's GPS as an on or off image

Mobile Data

  • shows the state of the device's mobile data as an on or off image

Notification Count

  • shows the number of all notification messages from apps on the status bar. Total Launcher must be granted notification access in the user's device.

If the graphic object has an action set, it shows the number of notification messages for the object. Not clear on how to accomplish this.

RAM

  • shows the current device ram usage, refreshed every second, on an analog dial from 0% to 100% in 10 point increments

Ringer Mode

  • shows the state of the device's ringer mode: normal (on … any volume), silent (off), vibrate (if set to vibrate)

Signal Strength

  • the current signal strength represented on a proportionally filled right-triangle with 0, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% levels

for wifi, data or both … and your image is static @ about 25% proportion for both?

Themed Image

  • provides for the selection of an icon pack (or icon) or image to be used based on light or dark mode system setting

  • shows an icon of the current weather state of the current location as determined by GPS.

The developer of Total Launcher has commented on his blog the location can be changed in the options. This has not been found

  • shows the state of the device's wifi hotspot as an on or off image

  • shows the device's wifi state (disconnected) or current wifi signal strength with the standard wifi signal cone proportionally filled at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% levels
