Folder - Masks

In the context of a Folder Thumbnail, a Mask acts like a “cookie cutter” for the icon. It defines the visible shape of the app icons displayed within the closed folder on your desktop.

What it does: It hides any part of the thumbnail that falls outside the mask's shape, allowing you to force the cluster of mini-icons into a specific form (like a circle, rounded square, or custom shape) regardless of their original arrangement.
