Make selection above.** Total Launcher has three (3) main categories of objects: ***Layout** - This provides a pre-defined structure for the positioning of other objects on the page. It is not the only way in which objects can be anchored to the page, but it is very good for an initial setup. * **Widget** - Technically described by the Launcher's developer as a "This is an object a 3rd party widget supported by Android framework", widgets are customizable interactive components which periodically updates it's displayed information without have to open it. * App Drawers - These are containers which hold applications (displaying icons, text, user-selected images) or folders or windows which link to actions. * Controls & Indicators - These include page objects such as media controls, photo slides, slider controls, checklists, and more. * RSS reader - RSS (**R**eally **S**imple **S**yndication) provide and update activities from websites of various content sources (blogs, news, podcasts, etc.). Sources are selected by the user and the launcher provides for the RSS container display, image and text, to be customizable. * Application - Android application developers frequently embed widgets in their applications which will be shown in the Application Widget dialog. Any user-installed application on the device will have it's widgets available for placement on a page. * **Graphic** - Total Launcher uses the context of Graphic to include both **text** //and// **image**. It is important to remember this for better understanding when designing a page. While a user can group any selection of objects together, the launcher offers pre-designed groupings: * Built-in - Total Launcher has created over 50 mixed graphics to display text, time, day, date, year, alarms, calendar events, notifications, app version and weather. The ungrouping, editing and re-grouping of these elements can create very customizable widgets. Be creative! * Saved - Any graphic designed by a user can be saved within a launcher resource for re-use later. Also, any imported setup graphics can be saved to this resource for later use. {{page>site:site-footer-comment_feedback_block}}
